Free Insurance Policy for all IITM Students and their parents

Indian Institute of Tourism & Management unveils a unique insurance plan for all its students and parents in association with one of the largest general insurance companies in India. This insurance coverage is provided free of cost to all the students. As per the policy each student and his/her parent is insured up to Rs.2 lakhs each. All the students registered during the last quarter was insured for Rs.2.50 crores.

HCIMA (Hotel and Catering International Management Association) is the worlds largest professional body for managers and potential managers in the hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism industries. It is an internationally recognised management organisation covering all sectors of the hospitality industry including hotels, contract catering companies, restaurants, pubs, and clubs, as well as leisure outlets, theme parks and sports venues. HCIMA has a worlwide membership of over 23000. A student of IITM is eligible for AFFILIATE(STUDENT) Membership of HCIMA.
